pregnancy/craft in the last few days
2 nights ago I got the "soap bug". I melted a simple goats milk melt and pour soap, scented it with a mmmmm niiiice fragrance oil called exotic woods and voila! I had soap!!! I have since been sitting here drooling over soaps on the net and reading all I can about cold pour/hot pour soaps, yeah, the ones where you actually "make" the soap from lye and oilds etc. Can't wait to get the $$ to buy the equipment and ingredients :D I think I am going to try both the hot and the cold pour to see which I prefer.
Re: the pregnancy, had my Dr visit yesterday, my blood pressure is low, but im otherwise healthy, bub has stopped growing 4 weeks ago :S but the heartbeat is a nice steady 130 bpm. so all good so far. I have to go back in 2 weeks to get my results for the glucose tolerance test and my anti D needle ( I have a negative blood group) If bub hasn't grown even a little bit in that time I will be booked for a scan to see what's going on.
Knitting: I knit a gorgeous little swing style vest from the milo pattern ( by Tikki) for bub, just a plain simple white one...but it's going to be way too big! So now I have cast on a smaller one the same lol.

Family Life: The kids and I all went camping last weekend, to Mt Gambier ( in South Australia) OMG we all had a wonderful time, it was beautiful! we went to the Umpherston sinkhole

, and the Tantanoola cave

, which as you can see my youngest didn't like too well lol, the garden cave etc. We ( my parents went caravanning with us) also took the kids to this great fully fenced big playground area ( Valley Lake Playground)...wow did they love that!!! I was so proud of all my kids, they behaved wonderfully, even the 2 year old! and walked around without complaint. I couldn't believe my little 2 yr old managed to walk down the sinkhole AND back up again ( holding Nannys hand) aaaand he still had energy left to play on the logging truck in the botanical gardens!!! ( the sinkhole is in the middle of the gardens where the logging stuff is)
This is a sign posted at blue lake...he's a mad mad I tell ya!!!

And this is Blue Lake, isn't it pretty :) I was so sad the holiday was so short, we left home friday lunch and arrived back home sunday lunch. takes about 2 1/2 hours drive each way, but alas, it was only a weekend trip this time. Once bub is a bit older ( maybe Christmas time or Easter next year) we are going to go back there for longer :D
